Welcome to FestiWise

These Terms of Service govern your use of FestiWise (getfestiwise.com), our festival discovery and recommendation platform. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Service Description

FestiWise is a free platform that helps you discover music festivals based on your personal preferences. We provide recommendations, editorial content, and discovery tools. We are not a ticketing platform and are not responsible for festival organisation, ticketing, event management, cancellations, or changes.

2. User Responsibilities

• Use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes unless you have a Business subscription
• Provide accurate information in quiz responses and contact forms
• Respect intellectual property rights. Do not scrape or reproduce our content without permission
• Do not attempt to harm, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction

3. Pro Subscription

• Billing: Pro is billed at $9/month. Payment is handled by Lemon Squeezy. We never see or store your card details.
• Cancellation: Cancel at any time from your account settings. You retain Pro access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
• Refund policy: If you are not satisfied, email us at hello@getfestiwise.com within 7 days of purchase and we will issue a full refund, no questions asked.
• Price changes: We will give at least 30 days' notice before changing the Pro subscription price.

4. Affiliate Links & Commercial Relationships

FestiWise earns commissions when you purchase tickets through links on our site. Affiliate links are clearly identified and do not affect the price you pay. Our editorial recommendations are independent and not influenced by affiliate arrangements.

Festival organisers may appear on our platform through free or paid listings. Paid listings are labelled accordingly.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on FestiWise, including text, design, logos, and festival data, is owned by FestiWise or its licensors and is protected by copyright. Festival names, logos, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

6. Disclaimers

• Festival information is provided for reference and may change without notice
• We are not responsible for festival cancellations, date changes, or line-up alterations
• Always verify dates, prices, and details directly with the festival organiser
• Recommendations are based on available data and algorithms. They are suggestions, not guarantees
• The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FestiWise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Privacy

Your use of FestiWise is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will indicate the date of the last update at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
